Features of Ibanez RG450DX Electric Guitar

Looks and build:

The Ibanez RG450DX guitar is comprised of a basswood body that will help your notes and power chords easily ring out as long as you need them to. The neck is made of maple, with a rosewood fingerboard. The shape itself is the patented Wizard III, which has come to be absolutely renowned for its ability to help you play as fast as you possibly can

The Ibanez RG450DX is what some players call a “Superstrat”.Its body style is reminiscent of a Stratocaster, but its unique pickup configuration makes it better suited to rock and similar genres. This electric guitar has a double-cutaway body that gives you incredible fret access for playing leads.

The back Material of the guitar is made of select Mahogany Wood with a smooth gloss finish in Starlight Blue colour. Whereas the top and neck Material is made of Maple wood for a reason. Maple is dense and hard enough to resist warping, and it also imparts clarity to your playing. Although recent guitars are being told, have started replacing mahogany and rosewood with Meranti and Jatoba. The fretboard is made of bound jatoba with Sharktooth inlay for fretboard positional marking and twenty four jumbo frets making it easy to play and bend

Size and Dimensions:

The Ibanez RG450DX weighs around 16.42 pounds. The total length of the guitar is 41.5 inches consisting of a body length of 17.25 inches and a depth of 3.5 inches while the length of the scale of 25.5 inches

Sound and feel:

The patented wizard neck is sturdy and provides unlimited playability and provides a range of two octaves from its 24 fretted fretboard thus allowing a wide tonal range.

The guitar has a smooth finish overall with no hard edges at the neck thus enhancing the feel of the guitar. The designs were specially made from expert luthiers and engineers to give maximum playability and comfort for the user while keeping in mind that no compromise was made on sound and tonal range

Technicality:

There are three Quantum pickups: passive ceramic humbucker pickups in the bridge and neck and a passive alnico S pickup in the middle. You can change to either of the three or even in between thanks to the five-way selector switch.

Comprising of a white pickguard, two knobs, and a pickup switch, also have an alternative locking tuner, and it works by holding the strings still in their slots on the nut. Ibanez tuners combined with the locking nut, hold a tune fairly well.

This guitar has a quite thin neck with larger frets which makes it easier to bend the note by pushing the string towards the edge of the neck while fretting or when performing a riff, lick or a solo

It has two humbucker pickups with a single coil in between them and a locking bridge. The knob style used in this guitar is the Knurled metal dome along with 43mm locking nuts. String gauge used in the factory product is D’Addario EXL120 with dimension 009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042
